Experience a versatile holiday oasis for families, individuals and groups. The community of Bad Rippoldsau-Schapbach is situated in the idyllic Wolftal Valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in the Black Forest. Surrounded by forests and meadows, the Gästehaus Absbachtal provides a natural habitat for relaxing and recharging. In addition to a lawn and play area there are a barbecue area and a stream next to the house. It’s just a 500-metre walk to the bus stop connecting to Freudenstadt. Parking is available. The Gästehaus Absbachtal offers six comfortably furnished holiday flats. The sauna and solarium complete your comfort package. All holiday flats are self-catering; if arriving after 10 pm, please arrange for in advance. Breakfast should be booked before arrival if required. We also offer a bread roll service. Various leisure activities are in the immediate vicinity. Numerous hiking trails start directly in front of our house. The Alternative Wolf and Bear Park is just 10 minutes by car. The Black Forest National Park is a hiking paradise with approx. 200 km of marked hiking trails for everyone from amateurs to pros. An extensive, more than 100 km long network of designated mountain bike trails makes it possible to go on tours with a view, off the public roads and through the biking paradise. Excursions to the closer or further surrounding areas also offer plenty of diversion. Due to its location in the heart of the new Black Forest National Park, daytrip destination such as the Lake of Constance, Freiburg, the Europa-Park Rust, Strasbourg or Baden-Baden are in easy reach. With the Alsace, the Ortenau and Baiersbronn in the immediate vicinity, the gourmets among our visitors also get their money’s worth. For motorcyclists, Bad Rippoldsau-Schappach is an ideal starting point. Motorcyclists are very welcome; there are facilities for your motorcycles.
