The cottage Le Miroir is located on top of a hill near Durbuy, the smallest city in the world. The house is located directly below the holiday park Résidence Durbuy. However it is shielded completely from prying eyes and external noise. The house was completely renovated and equipped with a sauna. The living area on the first floor is very comfortable and offers a breathtaking view of the Ardennes. The spacious bedrooms are located on the first floor. One of the rooms is specially designed for children and is equipped with a bunk bed. The house is situated on a hillside, and the south-facing garden is partly sloping. A high hedge safeguards your privacy. The balcony in front of the living room is very sheltered, so you can enjoy the first sunshine of the year. The house is a perfect place to simply unwind and relax or to explore the Ardennes. The hills of the Ardennes are ideally suited for cycling, hiking and mountain biking. You can also go kayaking on the river Ourthe. The swimming paradise in the holiday park Residence Durbuy is within walking distance of the house. The narrow, car-free streets of Durbuy, with houses dating back to the seventeenth century, will transport you back in time. You can also visit one of the many cafe terraces around the Grand Place and enjoy the sunlight. Do not forget to pay a visit to the ruins of La Roche, where the ghost of Berthe still wanders. In Hotton you can visit the magnificent caves from the '1001 nights', a sight not to be missed. These caves were discovered in 1957, and are very well preserved. You can also go shopping in Barvaux, located 2 km away, where there are some nice shops and supermarkets.
