The holiday home awaiting you was built in 2013 with good quality materials. The house is luxuriously furnished with modern furniture, really comfortable beds and has all the equipment you may need during your holiday. The central space of the house is the large light-flooded living room with floor to ceiling windows. In addition, there are a beautiful kitchen, four lovely bedrooms, a loft with space for four people and two bathrooms, one with a whirlpool and access to the sauna. Outside, the terrace is perfect for cosy barbecues and relaxing days. You have the opportunity to rent a paddock, if you would like to bring your horses on holiday. The fold is 2500m2 with nice grass and of course there is water for the horses. There are a few small trees which provide shade in the middle of the day. Enjoy your holiday with the horses and a ride on the beach. There are good bathing opportunities and when you are on an island, you are never far from the water. It is a verz safe environment, with only a few cars and no hustle and bustle. Even small children can go for a bike ride around the island, perhaps to visit the beautiful nature playground which is located a short distance from the house. There are several shopping opportunities on the island, including farm shops with various specialty goods from the Danish small islands. A visit to Brummers Gaard is a really good experience. Here you can enjoy a good dinner, perhaps with a delicious steak from the exclusive Galloway cattle raised on the island. At Brummers you can also rent bicycles, sea kayaks, fishing nets for children and tow carts. Aarø winery is also an opportunity for a good and cosy evening for everyone. Here you can enjoy locally produced wine and of course also a meal. By agreement with the wine producer, wine tastings can be arranged. The natural environment is unique, the large unspoilt area is laid out as a bird sanctuary and is definitely worth an excursion. The ferry Helene is located at Aarø, where you have the opportunity to sail along the 12 km fjord to Haderslev. Haderslev is a beautiful old town with good specialty shops, culture and museums. The ferry to Aarø sails once an hour, and should there be a queue for the ferry, the ferry will sail as needed, so you can get to the island in 15 minutes. The harbour area with both fishing boats and recreational sailors has its very own charm. If you feel like fishing, there is plenty of opportunity for that, and you can easily store the catch, as the house is equipped with both a fish cleaning area and a large freezing capacity.
